On November 2, 2018 the Agreement on mutual abolition of visa requirements between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the State of Qatar, which was signed on March 20, 2018, comes into effect.
According to the provisions of the Agreement, the citizens of Ukraine, holders of the ordinary passports of the citizen of Ukraine for travelling abroad (either biometric or non-biometric) and nationals of the State of Qatar, holders of ordinary passports, can enter, stay in, exit and transit through the territory of the state of the other Party without visas, provided that the length of their stay shall not exceed (90) ninety days within a period of (180) one hundred eighty days. The passports must be valid for a minimum period of 6 (six) months as of the entry date to the territory of the state of the other Party.
Nationals who intend to enter the territory of other Party for a period exceeding 90 (ninety) days, regardless of the purpose of the journey, shall obtain a visa in the diplomatic mission or consular post of the state of the other Party before entering its territory.
Nationals of the states of the Two Parties shall abide by the laws and resolutions enforceable in the territory of the state of the other Party on their entry, during their stay and on their exit.
