On December 4, 2018 on the occasion of commemoration of 85^th anniversary of Holodomor in Ukraine 1932-1933 the Embassy of Ukraine in Qatar with the participation of the foreign diplomats accredited in Qatar and representatives of mass media conducted a presentation of relevant documents on this tragic page of the Ukraine’s history.

During the commemorative event there was a demonstration of the documentary on the tragedy of Holodomor in Ukraine 1932-1933 – the Genocide against the Ukrainian people deliberately committed by Stalin’s regime. It has been also lively discussed the issues related to the tragedy.

The participants underlined the crucial importance of an appropriate spreading on the international stage of the information on the Holodomor in Ukraine in order to convey the historical truth on this issue.
