On December 15, 2018 Ukrainian delegation headed by Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for the Affairs of Crimean Tatars Mustafa Jemilev paid a visit to the State of Qatar to participate in the 18^th Doha Forum, which is carried out under the patronage of Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Al Thani.

Mustafa Jemilev took part in the opening ceremony of the Forum and in the work of its several different sessions.

On the sidelines of Doha Forum the Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for the Affairs of Crimean Tatars held a meeting with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, discussions with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, Special adviser to President Erdogan of Turkey Ibrahim Kalin, Acting Director General of Al Jazeera Media Network Mustafa Souag and gave an interview to the top Qatari media.

On the same day Mustafa Jemilev visited the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) in Doha and held a meeting with its General Manager Dr. Khalid  Al-Sulaiti.
