On December 22, 2018 Qatari TV Channel «Aljazeera English» broadcasted the documentary entitled «Crimea: Russia’s Dark Secret», which reveals the occupation of the Crimea by Russia and its systematic and blatant violations of the human rights on the territory of the peninsula.

It is symbolic that the documentary premiere took place on the day, when the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted initiated by Ukraine resolution «Situation of human rights in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Ukraine».
