On May 5, 2020 Qatari "Al Raya" newspaper published interview with Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Qatar H.E. Andrii Kuzmenko.

The Ambassador congratulated the people of the State of Qatar and all Muslims on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, expressing hope that it would bring peace, goodness and health to all, which is especially important amid current global coronavirus pandemic.

Andrii Kuzmenko drew attention to the celebration of Ramadan in Ukraine, noting that hundreds of thousands of Muslims, most of whom are represented by the Crimean Tatars, also traditionally celebrate this month in our country.

Andrii Kuzmenko emphasized the efficiency of the preventive measures taken by Qatar and Ukraine and importance of its combining with high level of self-discipline of the people in combating the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

Ambassador of Ukraine also said about the commemoration of the 27th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Qatar on April 13, 2020, and highlighted the broad prospects for further development of friendly relations between the two countries.
