Qatari "Al Shark" newspaper published interview with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the State of Qatar H.E. Andrii Kuzmenko.

The Ambassador of Ukraine congratulated the leadership of Qatar and all the people of the state on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, wishing everyone God's blessing, peace and prosperity.

Andrii Kuzmenko emphasized the efficiency of the preventive measures taken by the Qatar's leadership in combating the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, and noted the importance of humanitarian and logistic aid provided by Qatar to its foreign partners during this difficult time.

The Ambassador of Ukraine drew attention to the important messages delivered by Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in his speech dedicated to the beginning of Ramadan, in particular related to the need for the society to maintain a high level of self-discipline and social responsibility combining it with the efforts of the state to fight effectively against the coronavirus pandemic.

In his interview the Ambassador also draws attention to the celebration of Ramadan in Ukraine, which is homeland for hundreds of thousands of Muslims, majority of whom is represented by the Crimean Tatars.
