On the occasion of the fourth anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Qatar hosted a solidarity visit attended by the Heads of Mission of the EU Member States, as well as Canada and the Republic of Moldova.

The event reaffirmed the unwavering support of Ukraine’s international partners and their shared commitment to the principles of international law, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

In his remarks, the Ambassador of Ukraine emphasized that Russia’s war against Ukraine has been ongoing since 2014 and underlined that Ukraine today defends not only its own statehood but also the security of Europe as a whole.

“Ukraine needs peace — but a just peace. If Ukraine fails, others may be next. Today, Ukraine defends European unity and security,” the Ambassador stated.

Participants honored the victims of Russian aggression and reiterated their continued support for Ukraine in achieving a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace.
