On June 16-th, 2014 with the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in Qatar during the official visit of the First Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce of Ukraine Mr.Victor Yanovsky to Doha  an agreement on the establishment of Ukrainian-Qatar Business Council between CCI of two countries was signed. From the Qatari side the agreement was signed by the Vice President of Chamber of Commerce of Qatar Mr. Mohammed Al-Kuwari.
In the framework of the visit to the Chamber of Commerce of Qatar parties have identified further steps to enhance cooperation in areas such as energy, aerospace, agriculture, infrastructure construction, medicine and tourism.

Qatar Chamber of Commerce Leadership was handed an invitation to visit Ukraine to continue negotiations on deepening trade and economic cooperation in promising sectors for both countries.
Ambassador of Ukraine to Qatar Mr. Yevhen Mykytenko also took part in the negotiations.
