In the city of Doha the World boxing championship among amateurs according to AIBA is going on.

On October 10, 2015 Ukrainian boxer Dmytro Zamotaev (weight 49 kg) and Gevorg Manukyan (weight to 91 kg) gained victory over rivals and reached the semifinals, thus ensuring themselves at least bronze medals.

On the sidelines of the Championship the Ambassador of Ukraine Yevhen Mykytenko and embassy staff met with Ukrainian athletes and coaches.

Ambassador Yevhen Mykytenko also had a conversation with the Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Qatar Mr. T.Al-Kawari (pictured).
