On October 13, 2015 Embassy`s diplomats held meeting with the general manager of the oil and gas division of Qatari group of companies «Al Mana» Mr. Ali Al Khater and a number of the leading engineers of the company.
The talks were devoted to establishing direct cooperation ties between Ukrainian producers and importers and Qatari operators of equipment for oil- and gas-chemical industry.

The Qatari side was briefed on the activity of the following companies: PJSC "Azovzahalmash" SPA "VNIIkompressormash", OJSC "Ivano-Frankovsk Valve Plant", LLC "Universal drilling equipment."
To participate in the negotiations representatives of the Dubai office of the Ukrainian company «Interpipe» headed by a regional manager Viktor Bisovetskyi were also invited.
Following the talks parties agreed on the necessity of conducting visits by Ukrainian producers to Qatar to formalize the bilateral cooperation.
