On December, 13, 2016 the Head of the Group of friendship "Ukraine-Qatar" in the Parliament of Ukraine MP Mr. Andriy Artemenko, with the facilitation of the Embassy of Ukraine, held meetings and talks with the Minister of Energy and Industry of Qatar Mr.Mohamed Al Sada. Also he held negotiations in the state-owned "RasGas" company on the possibilities of diversification of hydrocarbon supplies to Ukraine.

At the meetings parties reviewed cooperation between Qatar and Ukraine in energy sphere along with the existing legal basis.

Participants of the meetings also reviewed ways to enhance cooperation in the industrial sector and possibilities for leading Ukrainian machine building companies and producers of pipes to enter Qatari oil and gas market, particularly, to establish a mutually beneficial cooperation with “Qatar Petroleum”.
